The Highs and Lows of Quench Bookshop life!

February was a month of extreme emotions for
the trustees, staff and customers of Quench
Bookshop, with a fun-filled (and cake-filled!)
visit to the Wokingham shop from writer and
comedian Paul Kerensa, and the sad (but also
cake-filled!) closure of the Maidenhead shop.
On Saturday 12 February, Paul entertained
customers at the Holme Grange Craft Village,
where the Wokingham shop is located, with his Lucy and Paul Kerensa
storytelling and shared ideas from the Planet
Protectors book which he co-wrote with Ruth customers and friends gathered together on
Valerio. He signed copies of his books and book stalls and a personal delivery service
followed the event up with a comedy evening the last day of trading to thank God for His where possible, and are hopeful that many cus-
